    Ground dug Pilot

Not the whole badge but the wreath only. Was found in Volgograd area as far as I know. Looks like good Juncker.

      Hi Alex,

Nice find indeed, looks like a good J2 wreath. Notice how high the catch is soldered to the wreath, another classic sign of Juncker. No sign of the eagle anywhere?

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

        Hi Tom,

No eagle unfortunately. I can't understand how it was possible to break it away - the badge is in great condition, even both catch and hinge are without rust.

But's it's not only Juncker's sign - IMME has the same feature)

Yes, but IMME used Nickel Silver catches, not Brass like Juncker. And the rivets are textbook Juncker, very different from IMME too

Not always! Here is IMME with Brass rivets and catch. While JMME badges are Nickel Silver, yes...

Alex, that badge was produced by JUNCKER, not IMME. It may be marked for IMME, but it was made by Juncker.

Hmm... So does it mean if IMME/JMME catch and rivets are Brass then the badge is made by Juncker?

Interesting! But is it true for both IMME and JMME badges?

Alex, any badge that was made with brass, dome-topped rivets like we see here, and brass catch is most certainly made by Juncker IMO. Whether it be IMME or JMME.

IMME was a separate company from Juncker, but in the early days I believe Juncker made products for IMME and IMME sold them. Later on, IMME started to produce their own badge using Juncker supplied parts. And then eventually IMME made their own awards completely.

If you have my Paratrooper badge book, I lay this out in the IMME chapter.
