    Hobacher semi-hollow flak

    Hey fellow collectors,

I've just come across this flak badge and I am wanting a couple more opinions on it.

    Thanks,

Wow! The second one to turn up! I own the one Dave turned up and you can see in Seb's database of original Hobachers!

Hinge block is slightly different than mine!

Yeah the hinge is one of the reasons I'm not fond of it, the other is the skinny head on the eagle. IMO it could be a very good fake.

I have the same feeling Jordan, to me its a very good fake.... the head and hinge to me are red flags.

I don't like the badge. These hollowbacks are rare. The acceptable ones would need to be textbook to make it into my collection. This one is not textbook.

Thanks for your opinions guys I definitely agree with you Seb and JJS, it's not a badge I'd want in my collection.

                  Hi guys,

I also don't like the badge, in particular the hinge reminds me of ones we see on fakes.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Too bad! Would have been nice to see another, like mine, turn up!
