FLL late war pilot with carton

Hi Guys, I picked up today what I believe to be a textbook late war FLL pilot's badge with its original carton at a local yard sale. The carton is a bit rough but was a nice bonus. It wasn't cheap but much cheaper than I would have paid had it come from a dealer.

Special thanks to Seb who vetted it for me before I made the purchase.

When I go to a yard sale all I see are piles of crappy clothes and rubbish antiques. We clearly move in different circles !

Nice pick up, especially with the carton. Not common to find, despite the badge itself being very common.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Ha! Let me put things in perspective. I've been to 10,000+ yard sales in the last 24 years but this is only the 2nd German badge I've found. If I had to make a living by selling militaria acquired at yard sales, I'd have starved to death years ago! It's only a hobby for me.
