    Some Luftwaffe Souval pieces

    Hi guys!

I have gotten an interest in researching the post war work of Rudolf Souval, I get the feeling that the pieces I am posting in this thread are his earlier work and some parts might be leftover wartime part and then put together post war?

Can anyone shed a light on these pieces?

For me the most interesting piece ... a Souval type wreath and same for hardware, but what seems to be an FLL Pilot ?

Yes it get my attention as well. Its a unmarked GWL eagle with souval parts. Interesting badge for sure.

Thanks guys! I had a feeling that the eagle on the pilot was a war time piece, yes that is the most interesting piece in my opinion too.

The eagle of the Pilot Badge reminds me more of GWL rather than FLL, but I don't recall ever seeing one on a Souval wreath before, very interesting.

The eagle doesn't look like a leftover GWL eagle, but rather grainy and looks to be made of zink. That suggests that Souval made this eagle rather than GWL (i.e., not a wartime leftover).

Hello, I was offered a Luftwaffe Paratrooper badge and I had questions about it as it didn't look right. I posted it here and I was told it was post war Souval. I will post the badge now for your review. Thanks!

I can only agree, typical postwar Souval Para.

Eagle looks copper-coated, nice touch by Souval
