Pilot Bade and Day Fighter clasp - from vet

Gents, I ask you thoughts on this pair that came together from a US vet. He related that, at wars end, he was guarding Luft prisioners at a base outside of Munich and he gave them kitchen jobs which afforded them the opportunity to eat well and they gave him these medals as a way to say Thanks. The fighter clasp is unmarked while the Pilot badge is marked with a very small cloverleaf figure( hard to photograph) and is missing the catch. Thanks for your input. Rich

        Hi Rich,

Both are kind of beat up but original no doubt. The Short Range Day Fighter looks like a Juncker and the Pilot Badge is by BrĂ¼der Schneider, Wien. Too bad about the broken catch, but nice to have the provenance with these.

        Best regards,

AGREED with Tom. Both original in very worn condition.
