    BSW pilot from the SOS

I would like a few opinions on this BSW pilot. I feel very good about it and the eagle and construction match up to some of my references well. Mike Tucker saw it at the show and liked the way it was made. The catch is round wire soldered directly to the wreath. The wreath however, is the part that bugs me, it is different from others I have seen.
    Thanks, Alan

        Hi Alan,

maybe Mike Tucker is not the right person to ask about such badges.

It does look convincing does´nt it. It sure resembles a BSW. The eagle is right and the long hinge is right.

I don´t like the wreath, the rivets, the sharp cutout wingtip or the hook.
        Anybody else?

        Heres my one.

                I like Philippe's response!

I can't say Tucker without using the "F" word.

Let's just say Skippy's badge is textbook.

                  Hi Guys,

Sorry deleted my respons because at the moment I don't have the time to back it up, but hey since it looks a little strange, here I go again,

I'm with Skip on this one. For me this badge is part of a whole series of very well made LW copies. The give away always is the patina and the look of the reverse wreath. Very unique and IMO the result of the use of the wrong material in combination with a modern finish.

As soon as I find the time I see if I can come up with some pics of more of the same.

PS: Skipy you could have added the sorry excuse for a BSW mm to your points of attention

Many thanks guys, the wreath was an issue to me at the show but I thought it may have been some variation. I have talked to the seller and he will take it back. It will go in the mail tomorrow.

Next time EVERY detail will match, no excuses!!!
