Cased BSW Pilots badge for review

Hi everyone,

I was recently offered this BSW Pilots badge in it's original case as trade and was hoping to get some assistance here. My knowledge in the field of Luftwaffe Pilots badges is not the greatest especially when calling a case into question as well, I appreciate any help here. Does the badge and case stand a chance?

both items original but the badge has been repaired at the hinge

Both original, the pin have been resoldered. Great case.
