    Silver Bomber Clasp

    Hi guys,

I bought this Bomber Clasp over the past weekend at the SOS. (Thanks for helping me with this one Tom D.) I was pretty confident that it was original, but did want a second opinion on it. I also thought that this was a Friedrich Linden clasp, although it now appears to be attributed to Paul Meybauer of Berlin. (I do see the Meybauer traits on this one.) My initial impression was that this clasp was nickel-silver, but I do believe now that it is in zinc.

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

Yes it is a Meybauer bomber in zinc. Really a great one with a lot of finish left on it. Great catch.

That is a very nice example Tom. I see why you thought why it may have been NS.
