    Frontflugspange-Silber/Transportflieger

    Hello again

I need an other opinion on this one.
I dont have any original example to comphere with, so I like this way.
The swastika is in contact with the ring. Don't know if that is original?
    Please let your opinions role
    Thanks
    Nick

      Hi Nick

Here are two clasps for your comparison - both unmarked.
I will have to withold an opinion on the clasp pictured - the picture of the obverse is too indistinct ... the rear: I have never seen a Transport clasp made by this maker - the catch and pin fittings are not the same type used by Imme on their Recon clasps. I personally have not seen Imme markings on anything but Recon clasps.
I look forward to others' opinions.
      Regards
      Paul

PS: apologies for the large images.

        Hi Nick !
Think the catch on your clasp looks like an 1957 pattern catch .
        Post pics. of my .

                Dear Nick,

IMO, the swastika is "original" to the badge, the badge just isn´t original as a whole. I think I can see heavy pitting from casting on the bad obverse pic. If that´s the case ask yourself this question: "Why was the seller able to make a very good pic of the reverse and not of the obverse?". Go figure.

                Cheers, Frank H.

                  Hello

This is the first picture of the seller's badge.
Then he posted me the picture above.

So what you are saying is that it's totally fake?

                  Greetings
                  Nick

                    Dear Nick,

                    IMHO, yes.

Maybe others should give their opinion as well to reassure you a bit more.

                    Cheers, Frank H.

                      ok thanks Munich

                      Thanks for your help Munich

It's just the catch that bothers me.
I asked for better pictures from the front. Hope I will get them soon.

                      Best regards
                      Nick

                        Hi Nick

Forgive my paternalism, but you don't need this clasp in your collection!

                        Best wishes

                          bad clasp

                          Hello Nick,

Follow the advice of our friend collectors => it is a fake one and whatever you want to do with it is fine as long as you do not spend money on it , it is a fake and it wil stay a fake

                          Cordial greetings,

I am quite certain that is a fake badge. IMME clasps don't look like that...in fact, has anyone ever seen a real IMME clasp other than a recon version?

                              Ummmm....good question.
Maybe you are using the Jedi mind trick here... but I cant really say I can remember having seen one other than a recon clasp.

I think i have had 3 gold IMME recons, absolute superb pieces, but cant remember having had others with tis mark.

Maybe there are, but not chez moi.
