when i am looking to buy i always look in the database for comparisons , my question to all you experienced collectors is ,when i compare a badge on a dealers site with our database should they mirror each other or is there a a little bit of difference allowed as i spend a great deal of time comparing them as i have not been lucky enough to have had them in hand, thanks in advance for any answers Kevin

yes Alex it is problem in this hobby and if prices keep increasing it will not get any better,i do not buy to many badges, but until i feel 100% confident in my own judgement i always email Seb or Tom and they take a look for me and tell me if it is original and if the price is ok,we are very lucky to have two moderators with so much knowledge who are always willing to help us novice collectors.

Hello Kev,
It can have few differences between badges as Alex mentionned as they were hand made but the biggest thing IMO is the pictures. Angles, lightning, background etc can affect what you are actually seeing and compare. Best things it ask to one of us or post on the subforumto have a good opinion until you become 100% confident.
