    Silver or Gold grade transporter clasp !?

    Hi guys !

    I just recieved this clasp. I bought it on E.stand like Gold grade.
    Very bad pics taken not on daylight also not clear...
    Now I see that this clasp its not GOLD but SILVER grade !
    its 100% textbook and in nice condition but not a gold one.
    All opinions and confirmations welcome !

            Hi Marko,

            Silver for me as well.

            Lots of factors come into play when shoot pics of silver and gold badges in our hobby, the lighting and angles can have very different results on how the badge looks unfortunately.

              just arrived back home from office and compare transporter clasp with my gold bomber clasp. No we do not need more words...

              Yes nice textbook silver grade transporter clasp anyway , but not gold !

                Here are the pictures from the thread posted when I bought this clasp. I hope the seller doesn't mind me reposting them!

                To my eyes it looks gold, with some wear to the raised areas. Am I wrong?

                  its silver grade clasp 100% but with some dirt and patina on it... no chance to be a golden grade, eaven not worn. If this clasp was total worn golden grade , colour will be visible the most on back side ( mechanism and c catch area, corners,...
                  also from front side deep areas...

                  again... but its very nice textbook silver grade transporter clasp !

                    That's a silver grade... no doubt!!! The patina causes confusion in bad light.
