    Cased Meybauer zinc Observer

    Hello,
I posted this years ago and got a thumbs up on originality for the badge and case, but have some free time so wanted to post it again for a better look. I bought the badge in Germany in the early 90s, but got the case in trade years later. Would the case go with an earlier badge and if so, any particular maker? I will probably eventually sell the badge and get a nicer tombak version.

Also wanted to see if the mini is good or a later copy.
    Thank you,
    Dale

I am not sure about that one, very weak details on teh observer and the hinge don't look right, wait more oipnions on that one. Case is a beautifull early original. Can't say about the mini.

Thanks Seb. I found where I posted it years ago and it got positive reviews, but with the passage of time that may have changed - http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=252404.

Unfortunately my photography skills haven't improved over the years!

                      Hi Dale,

The badge and case are fine originals for me as well. However, I don't like the mini, I believe its a morigi fake IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Had to look that one up, at first I thought you were talking about the mentor from the "Karate Kid," wondered if that's what he did in his spare time while the kid was doing all of his chores for him! But his name was Miyagi, so guess not.

Thanks for the help, 2 out of 3 ain't bad, especially when the least item was the one that was bad.
