FLL Piot/Observer

Hello,
I have a little free time this week so decided to post my non-Gablonz LW items. First up is my FLL. I believe this is the nickle silver/tombak block hinge version as shown in the originals gallery, but would definitely like the opinions of those more knowledgeable than I.

Gorgeous FLL in great condition. Lovely fire gilding remaining on the wreath and nice thick silver plating on the eagle. Beauty for sure, thanks for posting

My vote would be a tombak/brass piece rather than nickel silver. The wreath is most certainly tombak and I suspect the eagle is too with just a very thick silver plating on it. You can see the rivets are tombak, and typically FLL would use the same base metal for the rivets as they did with the eagle, so in this case it would point to a tombak eagle rather than nickel silver IMO.
