i was thinking of picking this up from a dealer
I believe it's good …
There some corrosion in the back (doesn't really bother me ).
but it's being offered less then $800 would like some opinions

Too hard to tell from those nasty photos if it's a good Schickel or not. And it is properly called a Spain Cross.

The fakes are Spanish Crosses. Like made in Spain.

But I lean Spain Cross on this.

What "dealer" has pics like this???

I think a good Otto Schickle.

Looks like a perfectly fine, original Schickle to me, no issues. Textbook reverse hardware setup and maker mark. Nice example.

As far as I know there is no such thing as a period Spanish Spain Cross.
