            Nice clasp Peter.

I have a theory I would like to test one day that bronze clasps are less common than one might assume. As clasps were not issued before spring 1941, a lot of flyers would have received silver (or gold) as their first clasp. Loss figures for new pilots were then disproportionately high, as training regimes got shorter, so perhaps many pilots never received a bronze clasp. Bronze clasps do not seem to be as common as silver or bronze clasps, at least in my experience, so maybe this is why!

Whatever the reality, a great addition to your collection.

            Best wishes
            Tim O.

                  Love the bronzes.

In tombak I think bronze more rare.
