Luft Observer and Glider Pilot's Badges - Opinions Please.

Hello all,

A friend of mine recently came into a small collection of Luftwaffe stuff and asked me to come over and give him my thoughts. Some of it good and some not. There were a couple of badges in the lot that I gave my opinion on but he asked that I post them here and see what you all had to say. Any opinions that you all could give would be greatly appreciated.

Hey fellows,

Thanks for the quick replies. You have both comfirmed what I told him. The Observer badge lacked any detail that I've seen on originals. It also has a strange pin assembly and a very dubious mark. The Glider badge is of very poor construction with poor quality rivets. I highlighted other points to him but I guess he needed your guys' stamp of approval on them.
