IMO original and very late war Juncker badge, the curved edges on the hinge and catch plates are really interesting

Thats a fake imo. The back hardware are off and the front wreath and eagle are not.right.

I would have no problems with this badge. As like with the Juncker army flak the hinge plate can either come with rounded or straight corners and can be very narrow. Typical silver fading pattern on the finish, nice rivets, good pin.

          Nice late Juncker pilot
          Kind regards,
          Giel

            Hi guys,

This one is an original Juncker for me as well. I don't recall seeing this hinge and catch on a Pilot badge before, however it is certainly known on Juncker Flak badges, LGABs, etc. so I have no problem with it being found on a later-war Juncker pilot badge. Very nice and interesting discovery IMO

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Not really Seb, you just have to hand over your Luftwaffe items to me and start from the start again with for example east front medals.
                Kind regards,
                Giel

That is awfully selfish Giel. It would be more in the spirit of WAF for Seb to share his Luftwaffe collection amongst a few of us! East Front medals would be a good place to restart or maybe Infantry Assault Badges. Alternatively Seb just stick to buntmetall - much safer territory!

Don't fight over my collection yet guys... you made me laugh big time.

@Tim, I do love Zinc and they elude me sometimes. The bad part is that I have a heer flak in zinc with the same hinge and never tought about it. Im narrow minded sometimes.
