True rarity - Civil Radio Operators Badge...

    ...in ALUMINUM!!

This is a first for me. These civil badges are rare in their own right, but all the ones I have ever come across were made from Nickel Silver; this is the first example I have seen made from aluminum. Hardware setup, maker mark and detailing are all textbook Juncker, as well as the case so I have no reason to doubt this one at all. For me a gorgeous and extremely rare original!

Kudos for Frank Scholz pulling another amazing badge out into the light.

    Tom,

I believe this is the radio operator badge. The pilot badge is enameled.

                        Hi Seb

Consent rarity. But what % collectors are interested ? This is 1/4 circa of the price of OAK. I think these badges at this price must already be regarded as an investment ... if you are not a Rockefeller IMO common sense above all.

Specially for a civil and non military award.

                              Very rare and nice badge

I believe the price has been adjusted against the rarity.

Never seen a aluminum one before.
