Paratrooper Badge for Re-Review (Previously Unseen Flaw)

The badge was previously discussed on this thread:
http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=868325
It seems that everyone, myself included missed this flaw. It is also currently for sale on estand but it is on hold until further notice / this can be sorted out.
Upon closer inspection, it seems that there is no weld, no crack on either side. The wear / paint / mold (whatever the white substance is) is consistent with the rest of the badge.
To me it looks as if a piece was chipped off of the swastika at some point, possibly when it was being made as there are remnants of the paint on the swastika including the area in question. The degree of wear / amount of paint remaining seems to be consistent throughout the swastika as well.
Any thoughts and or input would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
IMO its just a chip from the arm. I dont see any sign of repair. I would not worry about it.

I think its fine too, looks like a chip from production, probably a dirty die IMO. Nothing to worry about.
