Assmann FJ PARA Good or Bad ?

Just want to run this one past you before I contemplate buying it, my apologies for the very bad pictures but this is all I have at the moment to go on. Looks as if it has an “A” marked in the centre of the eagle.

Those pics are abysmal but it still looks like a repro/fake to me.

Hi Mark!

That one is not even close to an original Assmann badge. Don´t no where to start....almost everything is wrong here (wreath, eagle, pin, hing...).

I would clear stay away from such a piece!

As pointed out definitely bad and the close ups of the hinge wins the price for worst seller pic ever!

Thanks guys,i asked the seller for better pics but he said that was the best he could do ,no doubt he was rather reluctant to show me a nice sharp detailed image front and reverse,wonder why? ,and of course it came with the old chestnut story of "My grandfather brought it home from the war" what the cold war ?
