    Pilots BSW

Hi all, as i cant post pics, or have the necesssary equipment i was wondering if some of you guys would be able to post some pics of the early BSW pilots badge so that i can compare it with mine. I have had it for a few years and although been told twice its good i still have my own doubts. . Any help always welcome.

No collector of pilot badges should be without this reference.

            Checklist

Yuri D. provides a checklist on each of the makers -- points to look for. Here are some pointers on the BSW (and I am quoting Yuri here):

            1. Heavy, uneven look to the details of the eagle and wreath.
            2. The eagle is fitted unevenly to the wreath, creating an awkward appearance.
            3. A thin metal "bridge" is between the right arm of the swastika and the claw of the eagle on some badges (see above photo).
            4. A very wide hinge on reverse.
            5. The reverse edges of the wreath are not filed down.
            6. The catch is a "question mark" (?) type.

This one is in my collection -- without the "bridge".
