Hi Skip and everyone else,,
The wing appears to bend inward. My eyes are a bit touchy today from the monitor so I posted side shots of the wing. I would not know if the eagle is aluminnum or not..Do not worry to be honest..I did not buy this badge ,,it is just given to me to sell..It got a thumbs up when it was on the forum before and so I offered it on GD on a thread... I guess the guy there took it I was trying to rip them off, oh well, not my day. Here is the link on WA to it a couple months ago , so you guys know Iam being honest

The first 2 pics. show it best of all. The wing does´nt really bend in, if you look at the reverse side of the wing, you can see its a straight line. I like FJ badge wings to "bend" a little were they exit the wreath. A strange badge indeed, I really would have liked to know about the eagle material though.
The pics on the other thread made it look like a normal zincer. First these new pics showed up some of the anomalies. I still think its ok, just "different"

Anyway for me to tell if it is alluminum Skip? And thankyou for all the HELP today,you and Frank,,As I said,,I lose nothing,,but Iam really pulling for it to be good,,I like it inhand,,it does have a bit of charachter,,anxious to see more what comes out of it.I looked again and the wing seem to slightly dip in,,but given the concaveness of the badge,,it kinda sets up an optical illusion,,plus my eyes are shot out today

I really like that it was implied MMM sold me this badge,,,and now Iam trying to pass it off. The only thing MMM has ever sold me was a HANGOVER!!!

dont worry about the comments on GD I would reply to the thread but dont want to open one of those groupee account things,
Bob can put his assumptions on who sold what and who is selling what where the sun dont shine as neither of us have spent money on this thing I am not worried, though there is a hung jury of better informed individuals on here,

Dear Dion,
In your very old bad pics in the former thread the badge looked very convincing, also finish wise. On the new pics it looks a bit weird, is the wreath finish colour actually that "white" or is that an effect of your flash? In the new pics the base metal also looks a bit weird, just not like late war zinc.
But I am also more positive than negative about this badge. Certainly one to look at more closely. Bring it to the Stuttgart show.Cheers, Frank
