Para
Hell Dion
Its one guy on GD who seems to struggle with anything non text book. I would wait for some of the more knowledgable guys here to chime in. Personally I dont go to GD anymore as they seem unable to sort the good from the bad. This GD discussion is inconclusive at best, can anyone link this badge to a known repro type, or post another picture of this as a repro or are we dealing with an original but perhaps messed with badge here or is it private purchase or repaired?
The guy there throws the repro stones but cant back it up apart from saying your para wreath is "too good" which is not helpful. Are we at the stage now where repros are better than the real thing?
regards

Well, for what its worth, I like it.
Great pics as well. Although one thing, when you look from the top of the badge, does the eagles wing bend inwards were it leaves the wreath, or does it carry straight on?
I might be way of here, but that eagle looks a bit strange. Could it be made from aluminum?

Guys,
can you now tell me if the wing bends inwards when it leaves the wreath and if you think the eagle could possibly be made from Aluminum?
I think Neils problem is that it is all a little sloppily executed. The badge does´nt conform to what people call a "textbook badge" in that something about the construction does´nt look 100% right. A lot of people would probably have problems with it, so maybe not so suprising that the guy on GD also had some doubt about it.
