    Assman Para and LWGAB for Review

    Posting a LW Para assmann and LW Ground Assault badge that have shown up in a local Estate Sale and want to run it through the forum for opinions...I have my own opinion but want to hear from others. These are the only pics shown.

          There are other badges at the Estate Sale and I will probably post a few more for evaluation.

            Hello petz,

            Assmann para is a fake and the lwgab look a good osang. You really need better and bigger pictures

              Just as I suspected on the FJ Para but still not sure about the LWGAB....sorry no can do on better pictures as this is an estate sale....what you see is what you get. They will not send better pics or any prices and all sales are final with no returns....so it is better to find out before you buy. Estate sales story is the owner who has passed on collected German WW2 for 60 years.. All of us know there is always bad mixed in with good on these types of sales. So better to be safe than sorry.

                Hi Bill,

                I am of the same opinion as Seb, there is no doubt that the Assmann Para is a fake. The LGAB is a fine original though, I am quite certain even from these crappy pics. It would be worth the gamble IMO.

                  I am on board with the Osang Ground assault as the others mentioned even with the crap photos I would go for it. The maker's mark on the Para badge doesn't look good even from those photos
