I have no additional information on Gerhard Raht that is not already in the public domain however, I do have this urkunde from a document group to a Bordfunker with Stab I./Nachtjagdgeschwader 2, signed by Raht.

The album of Leeuwarden airfield you show is very interesting!
I actually work on this airbase and would love to see more pictures if possible.
The hangar pictured on bottom right possible still exists today although slightly modified.
Please show the other pictures too. Thank you.

Bought this plaque recently which must have been mounted at one time on the 6./NJG2 honour board.

The Lancaster was taking part on a raid on Munich and apparently there was just one survivor with his mates now buried at the War cemetery at Durnbach which I have visited many times in past years.

Note the incorrect spelling of Lancaster!
