    Gwl

Anybody have a nice, early Radio Op, Para, or Glider by GWL?

I know there were some zinc badges, but how about tombak?

Hoping to see some with the standard GWL rivets, hinge-pin-clasp, and break in the hallmark.

    Thanks!

      That boy has some Issues

      Hi Larry,

Poor Tim. What a goof. What is really scary is that Tim has a Pilot's license. PS- Lemme know when the badge is for sale.

      Tim,

I thought I was crazy. You proved me wrong. Next time I call you at 3AM, we'll discuss this matter. Anyway, all your badges are fakes.

        Hi,
Yeah, where are all those Radio-Operator badges and Glider badges ??
Anyone ever saw one of these ??
        Did GWL make these ??
I know they also had the Airgunner....what about the rest ?
        I'm curious !

P.S. was there a tombak version of the Paratrooper badge ??

A Parabadge with silver wreath is shown in the Para-forum by Ludwig, anyone has a idea about that one ??

          Mark,

I see you've gotten a couple new cans of SPRAY PAINT!
Try not to inhale any more fumes.
Also, please reach down the back of your pants and see if
you can pull out a para badge made of tombak, not zinc.

My wife supplied the background for this pic, and I had to
return it to her as soon as I was done borrowing it for my
          silly hobby!

              GWL my contribution

              Hello,

Here is the only GWL made LW product I have in my humble collection , a pilots badge => sorry for the lazy picture ( I guess i wil never be a good photographer )

Regarding the GWL manufacturer => IMHO they never made the Glider pilots badge , at least i have never encountered one that had the typical features for this producer , so keep looking who knows ? but I think it wil be looking after a non existing piece ( at least not period made )

              Cordial Greetings,

                Squeeky tight!

                Tim, Jos,

When I was only 6 years old, I pulled the Pete Rose Rookie card card out of my pants. It was at that time that I realized I had a talent!

Many years later, I am still trying for a Cased First model Blood Order, Oaks with Swords, a Silver UBOOTE combat clasp, and Lorenzo's Pilot Badge. These things come along all by themselves with no effort from my.....well, right up to actually........you know what I mean.

Perhaps this Sunday I'll drink a 6 pack of Moosehead Beer and eat a rack or 2 of Pork Ribs....maybe some Chili. Who knows.....maybe Monday morning I'll hatch that Assmann DoppelAbz. I've been waiting for!!!

                MM

PS- I'm sure this confession will stir up activity at the 'bunkhouse'...
