Thanks a lot! I just spit out coffee (stirred with my goring spoon) all over my monitor.

All joking aside, that's pretty sad that dealers would buy that stuff. All for the mighty dollar I guess.

I had not known of the Major's passing. God rest his soul.

The Major has passed but his treasures will live on forever!

All of his treasures should've been destroyed..
Now the crap is still floating around.
He was one of the biggest swindlers on earth.
All this HG, AH and other big name bedroom, kitchen, shower, girl friend and family stuff should be handled with huge suspicion.
Not too many specialists in that field, hence the HUGE amount of fakes and HUGE amounts of collectors who like to own this stuff too have something exotic.
Old silver items still can be found by the dozen, people who have the skills to engrave these the old fashion way also, some chemicals to add some age ..
Simple fakes which bring a lot.
I would only buy stuff like this from a old GI who showed me some pics that he was really there and he and his friends took some stuff.
Not from a auction house or dealer which sell stuff like this every week, year by year..

        Jos.

I wonder which dealer picked up Hitlers toilette plunger or Braun's undies. I still look at his site and am amazed.

How about Adolf and Eva's dental records. Now those are valuable and have provenance that no one could question!
