          Hi Thomas,

          Thanks for adding this Recon example. Looks like the pieces are really falling into place for FLL as the maker of these, it would be quite a coincidence if someone added these marks postwar to the exact same type of clasp (no doubts that these Recons and Bombers were made by the same producer).

            My 10 cents. As it was already told the box is typical for FLL, so if these items were together from the very beginning there is no chance for this clasp being Assmann, since they had their own line of carton packages for Luft badges, totally different. Also red wrapping paper is pretty typical for FLL.

                And how easy would it be to add a makerĀ“s mark on a finished badge or clasp without damage. Especially on a quite fragile thing as a flight clasp. Guess it is very risky to do such a thing.
