LW Transport Grouping

I got this grouping back in 1973 when I was a student in Goettingen from the man's daughter. She showed me a family album with photos of the owner in a fully decorated LW shirt. Unfortunately, although she sold me the medals she was unwilling to give me the album or any photos.

Everything shows wear. The Iron Cross is marked L55 and appears to have the hook re-soldered. The Juncker aircrew badge pin is broken off and the Transport Bar hook is also missing.

Still a very nice grouping for a Kreta-Kämpfer!
German losses were horrible there! Guess all decorations were very well earned.

Thanks! It is a neat grouping and I wish I had gotten at least one of the guy's photos in his tropical shirt covered with the decorations. I didn't get a name either. I was 20 at the time and had run an ad for military items in the local newspaper. I got some cool bits and pieces as well as a lot of stories.
