I'll rescale the image tomorrow morning and will add an image of the hallmarks.
There's no "begeer" mark there if you're looking for that.

My killcup has no Begeer mark either, but it has a period correct German halmark. Mostly the halmarks can tell a good story together with the style of the engraving.

I like the style of the engraving.....but what the hell do I know!!!!

Couldn't find an exact match to the hallmark.

In my opinion, these are around a mug, which could not be classified readily to the downing cups previously known. This version has been known in any other copy. This piece has almost twice the dimensions and not the typical hallmark on the bottom of the cup. In addition, the back is decorated with another engraving, the falling eagle with lightning in England. This figure was however not yet presented here in the forum .The typeface of the engraving has a close resemblance to known early launching cup.

                best regards waterloo

What are the dimensions of accepted originals? Do dimensions of early cups differ from later cups?
As Waterloo mentioned above, on the backside the NJG emblem is engraved, are there other known examples that have a similar engraving?

Does anybody have another example of a 1940 cup and is willing to post it here or send me some images?

I asked Waterloo for some more info on the Struning estate, he will be looking into his documentation. Does anybody else knows anything about the Struning estate and which victory cups are in?

                  Thank you for your help.

I found the Report of the Strüning estate: The first Two Cups are manufactured the way like yours. Yours should be his first Cup. There is no Picture of the Cups back withe the eagle - please show us.
The Report Shows in Addition a Special Cup with his first three air victory dates ,backside with the eagle.
