Any possibility of better, clearer pics? They aren't the best and I think that is why you aren't getting many responses. The badge is a Hammer & Sohn, but the reverse hardware looks questionable to me. I would want to see some good closeups of the hinge and catch and also the rivet and eagle, that should help.

Here is an original Hammer & Sohn, from fischer's excellent collection.
Mats, yes the Hammer & Sohn badges are shown in Weber's book as 1.14 Unknown Manufacturer. Several of these have consistently shown up along with their original packets marked for Hammer & Sohn, so we can be pretty sure who the maker was.
Clint, if you compare the one you posted to fischer's example, you will see several differences in the obverse design as well as the reverse hardware which makes yours very questionable and likely a reproduction IMO. Original Hammer & Sohn LGABs are pretty common so I would certainly recommend passing on this one.
