Super nice grouping Sven, pilots are good , clasps i have some doubt, they look tombak and some details look weird...

nice estate, but I don´t like the clasps, too. They are cast fakes in my opinion.

I have a good look on my PC and hardware is wrong on these clasps and the details on swords and wreath look cast to me as well, the metal base don't look zinc either. As I mentionned the rest of the grouping is very nice

Hi Sven,

Great little grouping, but I can only agree with the others about the clasps, both reproductions that have little in common with original Osang clasps.

With such late award dates, I wonder if he didn't receive his clasps but rather picked them up after the war to complete his estate. You can see that both clasps are very similar to each in hardware and even casting marks so no doubt picked them both up at the same time from the same faker.
