    Silver Bomber clasp and case

Hi guys, I would appreciate any opinions over this tombak clasp and case. They look fine to me but I would appreciate any thoughts and possible maker.
I know the COA is not an indication of authenticity
    Cheers - Greg

        Hi Greg,

Both clasp and case are fine originals. The bomber is a relatively rare type and has been associated with Assmann IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Nice clasp and case Greg. I agree with Tom (although he knows a lot more about this stuff than me!) that this is a much less common design than those we normally see.

Very very nice set, I agree its an Assman clasp which is hard to find but also the case is a later war case, hard to find and very uncomon IMO.

              Nice set
I would think the case originally housed a zinc clasp.

Thanks for the help fellas, in 'negotiations' to try and snag it now
Does anyone have a pic of a case which this one would have been in originally if this is not the right one?
                  Cheers - Greg

The early type would fit but the case you have is very hard to come by and I would keep it.

I agree with Seb here. While the case is not matched to the clasp, both by themselves are worthy of any top shelf collection.
