Dion, why don't we see a pilot badge with that "miss" on the rivet? Why have all the ones that have turned up lately been on P/O's with unburnished wing tops?
Brian, how many have turned up? I think maybe a handful?
You probably know better than me on how many, I am just going with what I seen in hand , especially the line in rivet perfectly coinciding with the target circle and the fingerprints, aging, everything.

Thanks for the closeups Dion, no issues for me. Rivets look correct and textbook IMO, and I like the look of the gold and silver finish on this one. For me, the lack of burnishing on the wings is not an issue if everything on these badge looks correct and textbook and unmessed with which it isn't IMO.
