It has a more golden appearance..

It may just be me but the details look rather soft. From the front I wondered if it was cast but the furniture on the back looks too good for this to be the case so I wonder if the clasp could have been painted (softening the detail) and then artificially 'distressed' to resemble wear. The colouring looks rather unusual to me for either gold or bronze. Sorry to be the odd one out casting some doubt.

Thank you for your opinion; don't worry I appreciate open discussions..!
I think there are no doubts about casting: expecially having a look at the rear, there is no trace of casting.
What you say about painting and artificially aged patina might be also possible.
But here I need expert opinions about..
