    RK silver night fighter clasp

    Hello,
Still going through the items in a deceased collector's estate. Most items have been repros, but I believe this one may actually be good. His father was a night fighter killed in Berlin towards the end of the war, and he bought this clasp in memory of his father, so I really hope you find it to be original.
    Thank you,
    Dale

I think it stands a chance. The obverse is much different than other makers. Interesting to see how it has indentations for loops if the award were to be finished in gold and with hanger present.

Would be a nice Gablonz clasp for your collection! Rare for maker and class of award being a night-fighter!

Yep, looks like a fine original to me as well.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Thanks guys, the estate executors will be glad to know. I actually already have one of these in slightly better condition so probably won't won't be looking to add this one to my collection, but who knows as you can never have too many Gablonz badges!

Terrific Dale! Textbook NFiS by RK, actually the only maker I personally trust with NFs, but that's just me.

                          Congrats!
