Opinions for an para case and badge

    Hello gentleman,

I have actually a para case to sell and a collector who have intersting want to know, if his Assmann badge would be fit in this case type.

It´s a case type, who you can find sometimes "GWL" badges, but not the typical darker looking case types, where you can mostly find GWL badges. IMO it is an case type, where you can put different badges out of the Lüdenscheid production.

Time frame shoult be fit for transitional badges with brass eagle and zinc wreath and full zinc badges imo. The interested collector have a type F or, type G Assmann badge. I am not 100% sure, but the eagle is looking like brass (type F) imo.

IMO would it be a suitable connection between badge and case. What is your opinion about the case and badge?

    Thanks in advance
    Joe

Very nice badge and case Joe. The case is more suitable for GWL and not for Assmann but I would't mind have them and find another one later. The GWL are not easy to find and yours is in very good condition.

Thank you Seb for your opinion. I agree, that mostly this case was used by "GWL" and it was in my collection also the home of a GWL badge.

My thought was, that possible for example Assmann and Berg & Nolte used this case type for his badges too. For sure not for the badges made by brass or Neusilber, but possible for the later zinc and transitional badges.

The most important thing is, that the possible buyer feel comfortable with the case. But when it is not a comfortable home for a Assmann badge, than it is just in such a way.
