    Observers

I took a little time last weekend to pull together my Observer badge collection and do scan’s so I can reference what I have and what I am missing without going through them manually. About 70% of them are cased. The biggest hole I have is an early Assmann(s) and I have a few too many Meybauer’s and 2nd pattern Assmann’s. Otherwise I think it is a good representative collection but there is always room for upgrades and transitional pieces. Thought I would share and get any opinions and see if anyone has in favorites in this group.

Image 1 is the Juncker J1 and the transitional J1 eagle with thin J2 wreath
Image 2 is the J2 Juncker and same by IMME

Image 3 is an early Deumer and a Deumer marked and finished with Juncker parts
Image 4 is a GWL in nice condition and a J1 marked CEJ. The GWL was from an English veteran who got it off an airfield. It was among several others and I am sure it was never awarded. So, these buggers were being awarded in 1944/1945!

          Image 8 - Assmann's second pattern

In the Assmans, I have one with a stamped MM, one with no MM, and 2 with a raised MM

More Assmann's - probably should sell a couple and save up for an early example.

                  Nice schtuff!
You're missin a second pattern Juncker eagle on a second pattern wreath.
Maybe pry that transitional apart and use that wreath!

Hi Richard, all very nice. Especially love those FLLs, very underatted IMO.
