I thought as much, this badge was my very first purchase some 15 years ago so it holds some sentimental value. Only since being a member here have I had doubts on this badge. I purchased an ek1 spange from the same dealer in London, I have posted in the crosses forum for comment also.

Business is business.
Why waste materials, you would think that the tighter the budget became, with any business you would attempt to assess your budget and look for ways to cost save, if you were producing mass amounts of a particular item you would cost save a fair amount on a annual basis.
I love the award by the way.
Just my personal thoughts.

Hi all, when i first viewed this award i too thought fake. I have a GWL Pilots badge (not the type shown) and have always been 50-50 on fake or real. More often than not tend to lean towards fake. Although I have had it checked out twice and have been told real,however i still have doubts. Maybe it just paranoia. Have no way of posting for confirmation. Maybe one day. Regards.
