Cloth Pilots badge

Firstly,please tell me if this is in the wrong section.
This is another from my inherited collection. It had a paper sticker on it identifying it as a Luft.pilots badge?.
Can anyone tell me anything about it and also, how do I tell if it is genuine.

Hi Andy, as you have had no feedback so far, I will stick my neck out and say it is good. My reasons for saying this are the embroidery is good and thick and well done. The ID of the badge is correct.
