    Another Luft P/O for Comment

I've had this P/O badge for 17 years and have always enjoyed it's "uniqueness." However, it's uniqueness has always made me wonder a bit.

This badge is about 1 to 2 mm larger in every direction than most P/O or Pilot badges (eagle & wreath), has a high vault, has a hinge that is integral to the wreath (not a seperate, applied hinge), and has a maker mark I've not seen on a Luft badge before.

Opinions on all of the above would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Herc

            Hi Herc,

You've had it for 17 years ,so let's say it's a rather old fantasy piece IMO.
I see no relation to any known badge and the badge on it's own isn't known.
Also,it looks cast, while not zink and the whole design is rather off compared to any maker..
There's nothing to hold on and my first impression immediately says it's just a old fake badge..
            Sorry..

            Jos.

                Hi Herc,

No chance for this one, it is a bogus badge.
                Cheers, Frank

Well, you win a few and you lose a few. Into my "oops" drawer it goes.

                  Thanks gents.

Agreed, crap badge, but two out of three aint bad. Especially when the other two are so nice!
How much did you pay 17 years ago??
