Although the ageing looks very convincing this is a known copie. The very typical ugly eagle head and sloppy hinge are the easiest give aways.

Agree with Phil. And look around the inside of the wreath. That is a very strange cutout indeed.

I agree with Philippe eagles head and hinge is gave away for me. Always think of the eagle as having a black eye when i see this one, and looking backwards.
