There were only about 100 Spanish MMI awarded to members of the Legion Condor... It would be interesting to see how many period LC medal bars with the MMI are out there (I have one). My guess is less than 100 as I think not every member of the LC had a formal medal bar made at the conclusion of the Spanish Civil War or later (for example I've never seen photos of Galland or Molders with medal bars).
then we can leave all our times to see that we have. I have information about it true 185 awards to German. Also have a picture of many Legionaries who have this badge and get just by Goering the Golden Cross Spain.
This time my estate with the Medalla Miltar. These come from a religious pillow.

What is your source for the 185 awards? Carlos Juardo states 63 Germans earned the MMI in his book, The Condor Legion (Osprey Elite 131); however, when I contacted him about the source for that number, he couldn't recall. I have a draft list of 99 LC & KM MMI awardees I received from another forum member; while many on the list are accounted for, it may not be a complete list. However, I have heard other collectors use 100 as an estimate as well.
unfortunately I do not know the name of the original Orner.
The number of 180-200 times we have discussed in a forum. As someone said he would because what accurate. But it is at the Medalla Miltar difficult to be a really exact number to be found.
An official document from the number of pieces come I do not know.
very unusual nice bar it was prescribed in Germany always put first the Germans badge. And only then the foreign.
Yes, the medals on my bar are not in the order prescribed by German regualtions. However, this is not unusual, as seen in many period photographs -- for example, Werner Molders wore his Spanish Award ribbons ribbons out of order.
