I´d like them a lot more if somebody had´nt cleaned them with silver dip or some other chemical.

I have got a badge like the first one (marked B&N L) and it´s among my my favourite pilot badges.
I think the second one is an original too.

Even though the B&N/L badge looks like it's been cleaned or plated a time or two, I'm having problems with the eagle that makes me question the originality. Curious what some others think.

I agree, for me both are originals. B&NL are well faked , but eagle looks a little bit different in one special point from it and rivets are not good as this one. for me is
