Looks like it could be possible, but I would like to see some additional pictures of the hinge area, rivets and makers mark. It didn't receive the best hand finishing either.

Seb is prob right on this one though

That is what I am afraid of looking at the eagle but figured it was worth posting. Hopefully more guys will chime in. I will ask for better pics as well.
        Thanks Gentlemen!

        cheers

I was hesitant too. Hinge weird. Face weird. Might be good but first reaction was I didn't "like" it. Areas around hinge/catch have that "just been added" look.

That one should go to the Malta School of Badge Refinishing.

IMO reproduction, dont see the details that should be there.

            original to compare.

                    Hi Matthew

Not an expert but, assuming mine is OK, it doesnt give me a "warm & fuzzy" feeling either Matthew

                    1) Weak & coarse/ruff detail on eagle/wreath
                    2) Metal doesnt quite look like either NS or tombac
                    3) Hinge looks too short & stubby for Juncker
                    4) pointed pin (instead of blunt) with atypical Deumer style flat spot near hinge

Cant comment maker mark & rivets from picts

Wait for others but hope it helps a bit

                    Regards

                    JC

Thanks for the new pictures, its definately a reproduction. Rivets, hinge and catch are not juncker as well as the marker mark. Details are not there ln the eagle and wreath.

AGREED, fake but very well made for sure. No doubts will fool some collectors down the road.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
