WOW......I'm speechless!!!! Gene, you have one amazing badge. Just out of curiosity, how did you come to possess it?

It was being sold on ebay, and I missed it by a few minutes. I emailed the winner and asked "Hey, you just won a badge I've been after for years. If you ever decide to sell it I'd love to hear back from you". Surprisingly he emailed me right back and offered to sell it to me for X amount above what he had not even paid yet. He got the badge, emailed me, I paid him.

Thanx guys. What also appealed to me was that it was marked A and DRGM as I collect badges so marked. I don't want to say what I paid for it as it was pricey, but considering it's rarity I had to do it.

That is on NICE badge! Great find, congrats...

Mine is a Deumer badge, kinda beat up...some silver flecks are still visible on the front of the eagle, with more visible on the reverse of the badge, especially on the wing.

Dirk..what's the weight on your badge? Mine comes in at a light 23.2 grams (kreigsmetal)
My Qualified Deumer comes in at 25.3 (zinc). Just curious.
