Badge ID help appreciated.

Relatively new to the collection of WW2 items and this badge turned up in a lot I bought at auction in England. I have searched the obvious sites on the net and resources like Ailsby, but have no idea so far what this may be.

I presume its Luftwaffe, but what exactly is the eagle clutching in its talons?

Is it repro?

Any help appreciated.

It is for the NSKK Motor Sports Award which came in Black, Silver, and Gilt.

Conferred annually for outstanding achievement in the field of motor sport.

50 points for Iron.
100 points for Silver.
150 points for Gilt.

I believe yours is not a good one.

Many thanks for such a quick clarification.
The quality is quite inferior to the one you show and is evidently a poor repro.
Luckily it was just one amongst the lot but - as always - caveat emptor!
