Looks like a fine original by S&L. Impossible to say when it was made, but has wartime compatible hardware and rivetting and base metal IMO.
The only question I have is the eagle looks soft, and it might be refinished. I don't see any gold on the wreath though, so maybe just a sloppy finish job, who knows when it comes to S&L??
