Luftwaffe Stickpin

Greetings All,

Not sure if this is the right forum (apologies if it isn't), can I get some opinion on this stickpin. I'm not that confident with it...

2 items I don't really like with it....

The "tail" is being dragged between his legs. These "pins" usually have the 'flared' tail on them & if/when they utilized the "droop-tail" it was a lot more pronounced out the back & not appearing as thought it was 'between his legs'.

The 'stickpin' itself....I didn't see any "knurling" on the pin. Me personally, I won't buy a stickpin that doesn't have the "knurled" pin. Way too many POST WAR stickpins used the 'straight' pin.

Thanks very much Ron for your detailed response and explanation.
Like I said I wasn't confident and luckily I didn't purchase this, rather it was given to me years ago. So no harm done, but really good to know.
