Great badges, great groupings, and great presentation. The historical context added to these awards brings them to life. Excellent collection.

Tim....I did a little recon of my own....(took this with my phone)...
and I'm pretty sure it's not Kronstadt....
but Long Beach....and the ship in question is actually...
                the Queen Mary.

Or is it time for a Bloody Mary???
                Probably the latter.

Nice stuff, nice job w the camera...
thanks for sharing and thanks for the compliments!

                  Hi Tim,

Thankyou for sharing the photographs. They are very creative and nicely done. It certainly puts the badges into context.

                  Cheers, David

Way down the spectrum in photographic beauty but this S&L just flew in and I had to take one "glamour shot".

                                Tim,

you had one Bloody Mary too much. Yes, it is Long Beach, but the Queen Mary is on the other side. I dids not remember looking at an ugly bridge when I stayed there over night with Birgit this May. We had a lovely sight of downtown Long beach, not big oil cans!

                                Best.
